LOMBOK 400KM is a self-supported and self-navigation ultra cycling race event, categorized as an extremely high-risk sport. The activity takes place in an open environment, exposing participants to:
- Various weather conditions (rain, storm, heat, wind), landslides, fallen trees, and other climate-related events.
- Diverse road traffic situations, including road surface irregularities, accidents, and unpredictable vehicle behavior.
- Human-related risks such as collisions, criminal incidents, and other unforeseen interactions.
- Physical challenges including extreme fatigue, high cardiovascular exertion, sleep deprivation, dehydration, hypothermia, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses potentially triggered by cycling activity or food/drinks consumed during the race.
It is the sole responsibility of each participant to fully understand these risks and to undertake adequate preparation and planning to anticipate and/or minimize any potential hazards.
LOMBOK 400KM DOES NOT PROVIDE any supporting facilities, including but not limited to: safety measures, accommodation, transportation, food, drinks, first aid, medical evacuation, technical assistance, or any other form of liability.
